Grade 7B I.T Investigation

Right now we have just started our I.T unit. We will be doing it for all of term 2 and we are now doing the investigation. We will be studying about natural disasters. You communicate if there is an earthquake or any other natural disaster happening. You can do this by using different types of messenger, using a cellphone or a satellite phone. You could also use face book or Myspace or many others, like I-google, blogger, other types of blogs. There

Reflection

For my reflection the things i could have improved on is basically having more time and being aloud to make a robot. I also could have finished my animoto and put more posts on my blog. I dont think that anything on my wiki could have been improved and i can't talk about how i could improve on making my robot because everything went wrong there and i didn't end up making one.

My Evaluation on the Robotics unit

My Robotics Unit didn't go very well. My investigation and everything was good but then i wan't aloud to make the robots so i have no create. I made a Wikispace and i started to make and Animoto but i didn't finish it. I did everything well on Win Logo and i made an animation. I learned about the three laws of robotics and why they were made and how they can protect people from making robots that can do bad stuff. I did pretty well with the robolab but i didn't understand all of the stuff on it so i didn't really get it that well. My project could be improved very easily, all i would need would be a chance to make the robots so than i would have a create to write about and i would probably have done well in that too. So for the investigation we learnt about robots and why they would be helpfful and the advantages and disadvantages that they would bring to people. My design or plan was when we used robolab and winlogo and we learnt how robots work and what, hopefully our robot would be able to do. For create some people actually made the robots and programmed them but i wan't aloud to so i didn't make any robots and i didn't programme them either. As i mentioned my project would be improved if i had more time and if i was aloud to make the robots. So i can't write anything about what went well or what didn't with the robots because i didn't make a robot.

Investigation

So far in IT we have finished the investigation, i have written a lot about robtos and typed about them on my wikispace. I have chosen what objectives i want to get my robot to do, i choose three, one should be easy, one middle and one hard. my easy one is to make it be able to drive strait and to turn. the middle one is for it to be able to follow a white line and the hard one is for it to follow the color red.

i finished my Animoto project and now i am doing my second one. my partner Hussain still didn't finish his video but we can just use mine for the presentation.

i am almost done my project. i already finished my animoto and now i am working on my voicethread i think i am doing good.

Tablet PC

i am going to do a tablet Pc for my project it is useful because you dont only have to type and you can also make graphs and draw stuff or you can put a program so u draw the letter and then it will come as if u typed it. it is very easy to use like u can type up a rough draft of an essay and then use a drawing tool to edit it. Tablet Pcs have many different features

my ipod

i can use my ipod for education by putting educational videos and songs and pics and documents and i can save educational movies.

how can i use my igoogle for educational stuff.

i can make different tabs and i can also put links to educational sights. i can also see my blog and the school website by using it.
